Welcome to the homepage of Andreas Spaeth Texts & Photos, one of Germany’s leading editorial offices providing important print media with feature texts and photos about topics in air traffic and travel destinations worldwide since 1990.

All leading national German daily and weekly newspapers like Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung and DIE ZEIT are among the regular clients as well as the most important special interest publications in the aviation sector (FLUG REVUE), travel trade (FVW International) and business travel (Business Traveller – German edition). In the PR sector the customer magazines of important airlines and corporations like Siemens, MTU, Lufthansa, Lufthansa Cargo and Fairchild Dornier have printed our material, some of them both in German and English.

Having studied communications and copy editing at the University of Washington in Seattle, all stories are also available in English language versions, some of them are custom written in English like the title story about the Return of Concorde for Airways Magazine (February 2002) or a portrait of CSA Czech Airlines and the city of Prague for Horizons magazine published by Fairchild Dornier (Fall 2001).

Andreas Spaeth Texts & Photos also provides the electronic media with background statements concerning news items in civil aviation, mostly aircraft accidents, having already appeared in all major German TV and radio networks. Statements are also available in English.

Andreas Spaeth has published two successful aviation books on the German market: ”Concorde – the supersonic passenger jet” which takes the reader into the pilot’s seat and the cabin during a flight as well as describing the historical and technical background of the world’s only and now retired supersonic passenger aircraft. The latest book ”Diving into weightlessness – Aviation adventures around the world” takes the reader on some of the most interesting flights on the globe – with a Jumbo Jet over Antarctica, a floatplane around the Maldives or a helicopter in Greenland. The English language rights are available.

Andreas Spaeth also gives seminars in Hamburg-Germany for aspiring travel journalists as well as Public Relations professionals in tourism and related industries.
